This year (as with a few other years) following the Interbike trade show in Las Vegas Nevada a small group of Norco staffords took to the East instead of the North in search of higher ground. The destination was Moab Utah for a week of riding and unwinding after a busy event season over the summer. For 8 days this group of cyclists (me included) rode the best that Moab had to offer including the Whole Enchilada (twice), Captain Ahab, Hidden Valley, Portal, Poisen Spider, Pritchet Arch and more. An Amazing week of riding in a worldwide cycling destination.
This trip was more about riding that photos but I did still lug the ol’ camera with me on most of the rides. Here you can reap the rewards of my unfortunately heavy labours.
This post has been a little while coming. I apologize for my tardiness.
While attending the Las Vegas based Interbike trade show this year I made the effort to check out the Cross Vegas Cyclocross Race. This is always an amazing event as it is the first large profile cyclocross race of the season so many of the big names come out to experience the dryest course in the world. The Elite men’s field was a massive crowd and I focussed most of my camera efforts on Norco’s Aaron Schooler who had a fantastic race finishing as the second Canadian in the field shortly behind Geoff Kabush.
Here are some photos from the race.
Another year at Interbike has come and gone. This year was not nearly as photo-centric as the last couple as the Moab Trip was not able to happen afterwards. That said, I didn’t even bring my camera kit, instead it was just the body and a couple of lenses. During the show, I did manage to get out to watch Cross-Vegas and that would have been a great opportunity to grab some shots. Hind-sight is always 20-20. Either way, here are a few photos from the drive to Nevada, Cross-Vegas, and a little bit of show.
The perfect “Health Food” platter
Another year down. Great show but so glad it is over!
